The Most Recent Delay

June 17, 2013 5:56 pm / Leave a Comment / Tom

So, I clearly do not know how long it takes to make a game.  May has come and gone, and I still have an unfinished game sitting on my desktop. June will likely pass the same way.  The finish line is definitely in view, but it’s just taking longer to get there than I had anticipated.  So I’m taking the Valve approach here and the game will be out when it’s done.  No more release dates until it’s released.

What in the world could I possibly have left you may ask?  Well, got some art to wrap up.  Some level design.  And the sound.  Story’s done.  Engine’s done.  Bugs mostly taken care of.  But man, that content generation.  Takes some doin’.

So anyway, that’s about it.  I’ll be getting a trailer together when the games finished and that’ll be fun.  But until then, you can look forward to more frequent updates over at 30 Extra Lives and The Cat Who Always Dies as I’ve missed them tremendously.  I’m also working on my biggest article yet for 30EL, gonna be a doozy!
